"This Private Residence is located in Miami. The home owners were concerned with security and wanted to enhance their curb appeal. Another concern was the electrical consumption and maintenance. Our solution was to provide a complete LEDSparks lamp system which not only enhanced the curb appeal but also provided a very low consumption and maintenance setup.
One of the goals was to highlight the facade of the home. This is a nice effect which not only helps make the house "glow" but is excellent for their security concerns. The whole facade for the front and right side of the house consumes under 75 watts.
We used our MR11 10SMD warm white lamps along with a small 2.5" recess fixture. Each lamp consumes a mere 1.3 Watts has a life expectancy of 40,000 hours. In other words the owners won't have to worry about replacing any bulbs for approximately 17 years.
The property is located in a 1 acre lot in a secluded neighborhood, which makes it very dark at night. Along with the security, LEDSparks wanted to highlight their beautiful landscaping. The large tree on the left was not noticeable in the evenings, we felt this was a focal point in the property. We used 4 brass low voltage hanging lights each using our 9 Watt LED MR16. Due the height, and looking to get a nice spread on the bottom we opted for the 30 degree version. To highlight the tree trunk and to help fill in the tree 2 additional 9 Watt MR16 lamps where used. The result a beautiful Moonlight effect which only consumes 42 Watts.
The rear landscape we only used 5 fixtures using our 9 Watt LED MR16 10 degree on the 3 palms on the back of the pool. The 10 degree lamps highlight the trunk of the palms while the 30 degree lamps on the side to create more spread. The system is modular, once installed it's easy to add fixtures, and that's what the owners are planning on doing. Every month adding pieces to tweak and highlight their gorgeous landscaping, and at the same time making it easy on the pocket.
The owners are ecstatic, low energy consumption, high impact, and budget conscious. They're the envy of all their neighbors. The only problem is now they have traffic in front of their home, everyone wants to look at it."
